Absolute Staffers LLC is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Radiology Technician/X-Ray Tech to join our healthcare team at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Allenwood in Allenwood, PA. Primary Responsibilities

• Perform routine radiologic procedures ordered by the medical staff for the AIC population at the institutions.
• Transmit, retrieve x-ray images and reports electronically, and scan reports into AICs’ Bureau Electronic Medical Record (BEMR).
• Receive training to retrieve radiographic consults from BEMR and schedule them to perform all radiographic procedures.
• Work with an AIC population from a variety of cultural, racial, religious and ethnic backgrounds.
• Evaluate radiographic equipment for calibrations and repairs. Knowledge of digital equipment is preferred but not required.
• Possess knowledge of basic emergency situations that may occur during special radiographic procedures.
• Schedule exams and maintain records.
• Possess knowledge of various pathological abnormalities as demonstrated by radiographic imaging.

Qualifications:

• M ust have and maintain registration status in compliance with the American Registry of Radiologic

Technologist(ARRT).

• Current CPR certification from the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA).

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Radiology Technician.
• Experience in medical settings involving adult patients, preferably within correctional facilities, hospitals, or clinics

Work Schedule & Benefits

• Hours: 2 individuals, one will work eight (8) sessions per day, and one will work six (6) sessions per day, 5 days per week, excluding Federal Holidays. Work hours will normally be between the hours of 6:00 AM and 3:00 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
• Paid Time Off: Up to 80 hours annually.
• Sick Leave: Up to 56 hours annually.
• Holidays: Twelve (12) paid federal holidays per year.
