    Full-time, 40 hours per week, day shift, 8:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday-Friday

    SUMMARY:

    The Organizational Development (OD) Consultant is responsible for providing consultative services, coaching and support to colleagues, teams, departments, and leaders to facilitate change and increase performance effectiveness, advancing the organization's goals and objectives. This position will conduct needs assessments, make informed recommendations, develop and implement appropriate interventions and measure effectiveness.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Leads stakeholders through the design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases of an organizational effectiveness engagement.
    • Collaborates with Organizational Development & Learning (ODL), HR and the leadership team to implement change, consulting on organization development practices including talent management, team effectiveness, leadership and professional development, strategic planning, retreat design/facilitation, and acquisition integration.
    • Collects and analyzes data to provide systematic knowledge of the organization needed to effectively diagnosis and recommend appropriate interventions.
    • Designs, develops, delivers OD interventions that advance the organization's goals and objectives, achieving both quantitative and qualitative outcomes.
    • Supports mergers and acquisition integration by ensuring teams are integrated, new colleagues are provided with appropriate onboarding and critical competencies are maintained.
    • Assists in the design of evaluation methodologies and tools to measure process and program design effectiveness.
    • Provides confidential consultation and coaching for leaders and individual contributors to support the development of critical competencies and attainment of career goals.
    • Identifies and acquires necessary resources for program implementation.
    • Keeps abreast of and applies OD best practices/interventions to support best in class OD department.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education/Experience:

    BA or BS in Human Resources, Training and Development, Organization Development or related field required. Master's Degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Leadership, Education, Psychology preferred.

    Minimum of 2 to 5 years demonstrating experience in consulting, to include: group facilitation, team development, organizational dynamics/culture, and change management.

    Certification/qualification preferred in at least two of the following: MBTI, CPI 434 or 260, LIFO, TKI, FiroB, Korn Ferry Alliance, Crucial Conversations, Emotional Intelligence, 360-degree feedback and/or Prosci Change Management certification.

    Experience in ADDIE design and delivery of systems, functional and professional skills training is strongly preferred.

    Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and use of learning management systems.

    Language Ability:

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Convey a skilled phone manner for handling internal and external customer’s issues.

    Math Ability:

    Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to work independently; demonstrate initiative and analytical ability; and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess strong attention to detail, and highly organized. Demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision and direction. Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office and laboratory environment.

    Computer Skills:

    Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; and accepts new or changing computer technology as the norm. Has the knowledge of and/or has the ability to quickly learn new computer processes.

    Certificates and Licenses:

    Certification/qualification preferred in at least two organizational development programs or assessment tools such as: MBTI, CPI 434 or 260, TKI, FiroB, Development Dimensions International (DDI) - Interaction Management, Crucial Conversations, Emotional Intelligence, 360-degree feedback and/or Prosci Change Management certification, or ability to obtain certification within six months of hire required.
