  • Responsibilities

    SUMMARY:

    Responsible for cost analyses and procurement compliance with contracts and procurement policies.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned

    • Supports fact-finding for supplier proposals at supplier facilities
    • Supports the cost analysis of supplier proposals and Bill of Materials, labor rates, supplier overhead and G&A rates, and generate analytical recommendation.
    • Performs price analyses
    • Assists Subcontracts Administrators in elements of cost/price analysis relative to proposal review and award justification
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Required Skills Required Experience

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Accounting or related fields preferred.

    EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years of proposal analysis, negotiation support or cost accounting background. 

    OTHER:

    • Ability to analyze and document cost proposals in the areas of cost analysis, price analysis
    • Ability to effectively communicate: written and oral
    • Ability to analyze regulations and existing procedures to determine adequacy of Telephonics’ Standard Operating Procedures
    • Must have knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) as well as other government entities such as DCCA, DCMA
    • Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX)
    • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR)
  • Qualifications
    • ​Solid grasp of modern web architecture with expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
    • Understanding of Responsive web design principles and developing for multiple channels, devices, and browsers
    • Experience with JavaScript UI frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.)
    • Experience in all phases of software development including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support of large-scale, business-centric and process-based applications
    • Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies
    • Passed/Ability to pass Tier 4 High Risk clearance background investigation (BI)
