    REPORTS TO: VP of Product and Development

     

    SUMMARY/OVERVIEW: A fast growing Insurance tech company and has an immediate need for a self-driven individual with experience as a Business Analyst supporting DEVops and product managers managing software products in an Agile environment. As a BUSINESS ANALYST, you will have the opportunity to work with established Product, DEVops and Project teams charged with conceptualizing and building new products as well maintaining and maximizing the profitability of existing products. Someone who is eager to learn new technologies, tools, and not afraid to come up with a new way of doing things and take full ownership of his/her work, to join the DevOps team.

     

    The BUSINESS ANALYSt will be responsible for interfacing with other teams, through the process of requirement analysis, writing systems requirements, testing, project coordination/management, impact analysis, tracking metrics and reporting. The candidate will work with a team of dedicated Analysts, DevOps Engineers, Developers, Testers, Product Managers and Business Intelligence Analysts in a fast-paced environment.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    • 1-2 Years of experience as a business analyst
    • Experience working as systems, business or metrics analyst
    • Experience working in Agile development methodology
    • Experience in using Microsoft PowerBI and Power platform tools
    • Must have strong problem-solving ability, critical thinking skills, creative/innovative thinking, attention to detail, and previous systems/business analyst experience.
    • Must show positive attitude, strong self-motivation, ability to meet deadlines, and ability to determine appropriate sense of urgency.
    • Good understanding of software development life cycles
    • A proven record of driving results
    • Passion for technology, learning new things and must have can do attitude
    • Dedicated for quality and customer first approach

     

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    • Experience working in production support or Operations area
    • Knowledge in Microsoft Azure and/or other cloud technologies
    • Experience on tracking, analyzing and reporting on cloud subscription costs
    • Experience in Azure DevOps, JIRA or similar tools
    • Expertise in Power Platform apps, Power BI, Power App, Power Automate/ Flow
    • Expertise in creating alerts in Quantum Metrics/TeaLeaf, Splunk or AppInsight
    • Experience in IT budgeting, planning, and other project management skills
    • Working experience in SQL Query or other programming languages

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

     

    · Bachelor’s Degree

    · 1-2 years of experience as Business Analyst, Product Marketing, or Product associate role

    · Scrum Master or Product Owner Certification a plus
