We work in all areas of management consulting including finance, assessment, communications, technology, executive services, and strategic planning.

    Job Summary:

    Working with a team of developers, the Software Developer will be responsible for partnering with consultants providing data analysis, utilizing programming capabilities, and delivering software expertise in support of their on-going projects.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Provide programming expertise, data analysis, and consulting services for water, wastewater, and stormwater utility clients
    • Assist developers with identifying client needs, gathering requirements, designing, implementing, and maintaining software
    • Develop web and desktop relational database analytical tools

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years' software development experience
    • Proficiency with object oriented programming languages, preferably C#
    • Proficiency with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL
    • Strong analytical skills, including statistics
    • Excellent written skills including reporting of analytical results
    • Excellent oral communication skills including presenting analytical results to clients or stakeholders
    • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
    • Ability to work within a compact team that may be spread across a broad geography
    • Willingness to travel overnight for project and job functions

    Preferences:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or technology-related field
    • Web design and development skills including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

    The salary range for this position is $75k to $95k. Compensation depends on education and experience. Employees in this position may be eligible for an annual performance bonus in the range of up to 25% of compensation, depending on the firm's yearly performance and the performance of the employee. Such bonuses are not guaranteed and are at the discretion of the firm.
