    JOB SUMMARY:

    Raftelis is actively looking to grow the Human Resources Team with the addition of an HR Associate. The successful HR Associate will be a results-driven, problem solver and will have exposure to many aspects of Human Resources including benefits, HRIS, compliance, recruiting, and culture.

    This position reports to the Director of Human Resources. This position is hybrid meaning the HR Associate can work remotely up to 2 days per week. Raftelis is located in uptown Charlotte and parking is paid for by Raftelis.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform administrative functions, including maintaining employee personnel files, templates, and document storage
    • Create and maintain job descriptions
    • Draft weekly HR communications, training notices, etc.
    • Monitor, update, and maintain the Applicant Tracking System
    • Support onboarding, orientation, and off-boarding processes
    • Assist with recruitment processes including university relations
    • Support the maintenance of our HRIS including performing audits
    • Support various HR initiatives that build and cultivate culture including participation in diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
    • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience or applicable internship experience
    • A high degree of professionalism and confidentiality due to highly sensitive information
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to execute and manage many priorities simultaneously
    • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus
