    Description:  Railhead Inc. has an immediate opening for an Information Assurance Specialist with a minimum of a current TOP SECRET Security Clearance.  This position will directly support 611th Air Communications Squadron (611 ACOMS).  The candidate will work closely with the Configuration Manager. Risk assessment is just one responsibility for the information assurance manager. The candidate will also work with developing and implementing disaster recovery plans, continuous monitoring plans, system security plans, security controls implementations, and risk elements mitigation strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to support our nations pivot to the Pacific.    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Review and coordinate guidelines and policies surrounding risk and security.
    • Analyze audit data for current and future systems, implement the right security strategy for the 611 ACOMS, and coordinate with other AOCs.
    • Define backup strategies, adhere to backup policies, and monitor backups for completion and viability.
    • Supervise IT projects and bring the right security implementation for smooth project management.
    • Monitor hardware and software for any suspicious changes, behavior or traffic, provide reports when/as directed.
    • Document best practices for security and information assurance based on business and user requirements.
    • Monitor and implement information assurance/security standards and procedures.
    • Coordinate, develop, and evaluate security programs for the organization. Recommend information assurance/security solutions to support customer requirements.
    • Identify, report, and resolve security violations and computer security incidents with other IA/security professionals, and support Incident Response activities.
    • Determine implementation strategies for information assurance and security requirements based on the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.
    • Perform vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle.
    • Ensure servers comply with DoD Information Assurance requirements and update servers that are not in compliance.
    • Assist in the research, evaluation, testing, selection, procurement, implementation and maintenance of new software/hardware/systems
    • Perform Assured Compliance Assessment Solutions (ACAS) vulnerability scanning, configuration assessment, and network discovery.
    • MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
    • 8 years experience in C4I related activities and maintaining classified networks
    • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field
    • TS/SCI Clearance required on day one
    • DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Preferably Security +
    • DISA ACAS training

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS (NOT REQUIRED): 

    • Industry certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, NetApp, and VMware
    • Experience with USAF Intelligence related client software operating across a range of environments
    • Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, DRA, Active Directory, SharePoint and Visio
    • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNA Security, CCNP, CCNP Collaboration or BCNE
    • Xacta Information Assurance Manager training
