    RAINBOW INTERNATIONALJob Title: Supervisor – ReconstructionPay Range: $17.00 - $23.00 Per HourDivision: ReconstructionReports To: Project ManagerSUMMARYSupervise/perform the reconstruction services to buildings damaged by water, smoke,fire, storm, debris or other methods of damage. Supervise other specialty trades asrequired. Supervise/perform reconstruction services that equal or exceed company andcustomer quality standards. Perform marketing tasks to sell additional services ordevelop additional business as required.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties maybe assigned.1. Drive a company vehicle to locations designated by customers. Load and unloadequipment and supplies form the vehicle to the work site. Clear the work site bymoving furniture and equipment and restore the work site to the originalconfiguration when the job is complete.2. Obtain all required signed job documents.3. Create job scope/estimate and negotiate approval and payment schedules with allparties concerned within the PM’s (Project Managers) oversite.4. Schedule and manage all target start, target completion, actual start, final completiondates and times with Coordinator and PM.5. Schedule post reconstruction cleaning services of carpets, upholstery and draperieson an as needed basis.6. Supervise/perform all reconstruction projects to insure they meet all local coderequirements and statutes.7. Establish and maintain a work flow schedule to ensure all service is delivered to meetcustomer/carrier requirements.8. Coach and Train Crew Chiefs (Forman) and their Service Professionals as needed todeliver the highest quality work and profits possible.9. Review all jobs with Crew Chiefs once all financials are complete to ensure jobs wereprofitable. If not discuss and train to correct.10. Follow all OSHA and EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and other applicablefederal, state and local regulations for disposal of materials and or chemicals.11. Comply with all verbal and written safety practices including the use andmaintenance of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Read and comprehend allapplicable MSDSs for chemicals that require special handling and use of PPE.12. Maintain all assigned vehicles and equipment to company published standards.13. Solicit current customers for leads to develop leads for new customers.14. Develop new business by calling on individuals and businesses in response to leadsgenerated from calls made by the CSR (Customer Service Representative) andreferrals from customers and others.15. Perform other duties as required. These duties may include job functions that areoutside the scope of normal job duties.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESDirectly supervise Crew Chiefs and their Service Professionals in the ReconstructionDivision as required. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with theorganization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees,planning, assigning, and directing work; spotting materials for the given project,appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    OTHER QUALIFICATIONSMust be computer literate and be able to use spreadsheets and word processors fromstandard software packages. Must be proficient in Xactimate and or willing to put the timeinto learning it.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) five or more years relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenanceinstructions, and procedures. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Abilityto present information in one-on-one, as well as speak effectively before groups,customers, employees or organizations.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such asdiscounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, andvolume. Ability to compute rate, ratio and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability toapply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Must be knowledgeable in financialstatements.

    REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved writtenor oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables instandardized situations.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMust have and maintain a valid vehicle operator’s license appropriate to theequipment/vehicle operated. Must have and maintain a valid contractors license and keepit up to date as required by all local city or state municipality that work is being performed.If contractor License is not held at time of hire the company will allow a 12 month graceperiod to obtain.
