Rainbow International Restoration of Chattanooga is hiring for entry level or experienced fire/smoke remediation technicians. As a restoration technician, you are a key team member responsible for the restoration of carpets, upholstery and draperies that have been damaged by water, smoke, fire, debris or other methods of damage. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, thrive in fast moving environments, and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines. You have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers and are able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis.Pay is $14-$18 per hour Depending on experience.This position is responsible for assisting customers with the restoration of their home and contents after a major disaster such as water, fire and wind damage. After a fire, the customer’s belongings are documented, inventoried, and removed from the home. The home is then cleaned and deodorized of smoke and soot. The contents are cleaned off-site at our warehouse and packed to be returned to the home after the home’s restoration is complete.Job Duties:• Inspect, evaluate, and document personal belongings for pack out.• Inventory, pack and move contents.• Clean contents and structure after fire/soot damage.• Post-Construction Cleaning.• Technicians may be required to participate within an on-call rotation for emergency services.Pay and Benefits:• Pay is depending on experience and whether you have the FRST and OCT Certifications. $14-$18 per hour.• Rainbow International Restoration offers medical and insurance after a 90 day probationary period.• Paid vacation after 6 Months.• Paid sick after 1 year. • Position is full time. Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m – 4:30 p.m. Occasional weekends and overtime when necessary.• A typical week consists of 40-45 hours. Occasional overtime.Qualifications:• Clean driving record.• Strong work ethic.• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.• Team player.• Ability to work long hours and maintain a positive attitude.• Strong attention to detail.
