    Practice: Raincross Medical Group Raincross Medical Group is seeking a motivated, bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Medical Assistant team member to support a Primary Care Physician in our Riverside clinic. We are looking for someone who is dependable, professional, and eager to grow into a leadership role as the practice expands.

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support patient care and administrative operations within a busy clinical department. In this role, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to help ensure a smooth, efficient, and positive experience for patients. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, a commitment to quality care, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments in a professional and reassuring manner.
    • Record patient information accurately, including vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant details.
    • Assist providers during clinical examinations and minor procedures as directed.
    • Maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment to support cleanliness, readiness, and safety standards.
    • Coordinate patient flow, manage schedules, and help support timely rooming and follow-up processes.
    • Communicate with patients regarding appointments, instructions, and basic questions within scope of role.
    • Perform administrative tasks such as updating records, processing documentation, and supporting chart preparation.
    • Follow established policies, clinical protocols, and confidentiality requirements at all times.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training preferred.
    • Current certification or willingness to obtain certification may be required, depending on department needs.
    • Prior experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting preferred.
    • Basic knowledge of medical terminology, clinical workflows, and patient care practices.
    • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
    • Ability to maintain professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with electronic health records and scheduling systems.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Comfort with multitasking and adapting to changing priorities.
