Duties and Responsibilities Provide a memorable and positive camp experience by incorporating and leading: passive and active games, art projects, theatrical activities, field trips, food experiences and much more. Responsible for creating a safe and fun summer camp environment for youth campers. Typical Qualifications Counselors much be at least 17 years old by the start of camp and have reliable transportation. Experience working with youth ages 6-12 is a plus. All counselors must be available for training before camp begins. This job requires counselors to actively participate with campers in a recreational setting which includes the outdoors and lift up to 25lbs. Additional Information Counselors are expected to be role models at all times, pay attention to details, adhere to City of Raleigh Policies and Procedures, attend trainings prior to the start of camp, and have reliable transportation.
