    Job Description

    RALLY CAMPS is seeking a motivated, energetic, and detail-oriented intern to deliver wow experiences while learning in a fast-paced and fun professional sports summer camp business.

    This is an in-person internship.

    Our summer camps are the fun, safe, and engaging environments where kids spark an interest. We encourage kids out of their comfort zones and into a week's worth of awesomeness. We believe that memories aren't always made with buzzer beaters, walk-offs, or penalty kicks. Rather, we know that it is often the unexpected moments in-between that give our campers the indelible life skills that summer camps are meant to offer.

    • A passion for finding solutions and providing unparalleled customer experiences
    • An understanding of digital media, social media, and current trends in marketing
    • Excellent organizational skills with a passion for getting all the details correct
    • Polished writing and communication skills
    • A strong command of Google docs, spreadsheets, and forms

    THE WORK

    • Responsible for receiving and responding to incoming customer service and enrollment inquiries for the San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants Baseball Camp and other camp programs
    • Creating and updating social media and other marketing content in conjunction with our Executive Director
    • Generating new marketing content across various digital platforms
    • Answer parent questions and assist parents with enrolling via our camp management system
    • Process refunds, credits, and changes to camp family accounts
    • Make proactive phone calls to camp families to ensure their accounts are updated and to provide "wow" moments of customer experience in helping them prepare for camp.
    • Retrieve reports within our camp management system as assigned on a regular basis

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Experience in the sports, summer camp, or other customer-facing industries

    WOW US WITH

    • Past experience working in a summer camp and/or youth sports community
    • Experience as an athlete (past or present) with a leadership role in your organization
    • Demonstrated ability to turn potential service failures into lifelong customers

    THE LOGISTICS

    • Our office is located in Carlsbad, California. This internship is in-person at our office.
    • Current position is seasonal start date can be as early as April 1st, but no later than May 15th, and employment commitment through August 13, 2021
