Job Description

Ramey Law, PC is hiring a trial attorney for its Los Angeles firm, located near LAX. We are looking for a candidate who wants to work helping injured victims to achieve justice.

Candidates should be familiar with the Code of Civil Procedure, Rules of Court, statutes, deadlines, local court rules, and in particular the rules and procedures for the Personal Injury Courts in the County of Los Angeles and surrounding areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Represent clients in court, including all aspects of trial preparation and second chair trial based upon experience
• Take and Defend depositions
• Prepare and draft legal motions and oppositions to motions
• Prepare and respond to discovery
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
• Perform administrative and case management functions related to the practice of law

​​QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensed to practice law in California
• 1-5 years’ experience
• Familiarity with various legal documents
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate effectively with clients
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic.
• Exceptional litigation skills with strong knowledge of State Court rules
• Ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment
• Must be a team player and strong ability to multi-task

We are offering a competitive salary based upon experience, including % of cases’ fees (in addition to discretionary bonuses) We also pay 100% of your health and dental insurance.
