Job Summary:
Under the direction of the BIM Manager, the BIM Coordinator Intern supports the work of the
preconstruction department by plan, design, and use of the most up-to-date BIM software.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- The ability to work on a variety of large-scale construction environments including commercial,
educational, and healthcare projects.
- Learn and demonstrate proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM 360,
Assemble, etc.
- Works with BIM Manager, clients, Design Teams, and subcontractors during pre-construction
and construction phase to help coordinate and build 3D models, 2D Shop Drawings, As-Built and
Submittal drawings.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Adapts to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; changes approach
or method to best fit the situation.
- Demonstrated ability to work in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM 360, Assemble,
AutoCAD, etc.)
- Strong collaborative and organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- The ability to balance multiple projects at a time.
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong proficiency in visualizing the constructability of various projects.

Education and Experience:
- Students pursuing degree in Virtual Design and Construction, Construction Management, or
related field preferred.
- Preference will be given to students showing a strong interest in BIM Coordination.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to travel to various locations for company affairs.
