Role Overview:

Mintlify is seeking a founding backend engineer to play a key role in building, optimizing, and establishing the foundations of our product. As a backend engineer, you will collaborate closely with the engineering team to architect solutions and drive the development of our platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, with expertise in Typescript, NodeJS, and RESTful APIs, and a proven track record of architecting solutions from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of backend infrastructure, focusing on building, optimizing, and establishing the foundations of the Mintlify platform.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to architect solutions and drive the development of new features and functionalities.
• Utilize your expertise in Typescript, NodeJS, and RESTful APIs to develop scalable and efficient backend solutions.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of architecting solutions from scratch and taking projects from 0 to 1.
• Leverage industry experience to implement best practices and standards for backend development.
• Utilize devOps tools and infrastructure to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of the backend systems.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of industry experience in backend engineering at a reputable early-stage startup (Seed - Series B).
• Proficiency in Typescript, NodeJS, and RESTful APIs, with a strong focus on backend development.
• Demonstrated experience architecting solutions from scratch and driving projects from conception to implementation.
• Familiarity with devOps tools and infrastructure commonly used in the industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for building innovative solutions.
