Part-Time Ranch Help Wanted – Ria’s Ranch, Rio Linda

Ria’s Ranch is hiring for a part-time weekend position at our small boutique ranch in Rio Linda. We’re looking for someone dependable and hands-on to help care for our animals and keep the property in top shape.

Responsibilities include:

Daily clean-up and feeding (includes individual supplements)

General horse care and basic training experience

Occasional rabbit care

Light gardening to keep the ranch looking well-kept

Bonus if you're qualified to give riding lessons (commission offered)

Requirements:

Must be able to speak English (for safety and communication)

Must be able to lift and move 100 lb hay bales

Comfortable working in all weather — it gets hot in summer and wet in winter

Reliable weekend availability

Able to work independently and follow care routines consistently

Compensation:

Starting at $21/hr

Commission available for riding lessons if qualified

Start Date: One week from today.
