Job Description

Do you have experience in an HR administrative or recruitment/onboarding role? Are you familiar with HR procedures? Our client has a hybrid-remote HR Call Center Representative position located near Alameda, CA! In this position, you will assist our client's internal employees with payroll, benefits, eligibility, and other HR inquiries. Equipment will be provided to you, as this is a mostly work from home position, but candidates must be prepared to work in office occasionally. To be considered, you must complete and pass the assessment (sent by Recruiter) required for the application. If hired, our client requires all employees to be vaccinated against Covid-19, pending a medical or religious exemption. Details : * Start/Duration: ASAP - 1 year contract (likely to extend) * Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5:30pm * Location: Hybrid Remote - Office located in Alameda, CA (will work onsite 1 day per week) * Pay Rate: $19-21/hr paid weekly, based on experience Responsibilities: * Research employee's records to determine rate of pay, seniority date, rehire eligibility, etc. * Answers high volume inbound calls from internal employees * Assist in audit requests from HR Department * Determine proper raises based upon contract/assignment (Union Laws) * Scheduling and organizing video conferences * Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) * Technical knowledge in HR systems and procedures Qualifications: * HR Administrative or Recruitment/Onboarding experience * Technical knowledge of HR systems and procedures * Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) * Basic Computer Skills * Experience with PeopleSoft 8.8 preferred, but not required * Excellent customer service orientation Company Description Randstad Staffing.
