As a Billing Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless and accurate billing processes, contributing to the smooth operation of our healthcare services.

Our client is a major Philadelphia-based academic health system that is driving medical advances through clinical innovation, pioneering research and world-class education.

Location : Philadelphia, PA 19140 (Hybrid - T/W/TH onsite)

Pay : $28.76 per hour

Schedule : Mon-Fri, 7 AM - 4 PM

What you'll be doing:

• Handle both insurance billing and direct patient billing processes
• Responsible for claims submission, ongoing patient billing, payments, and associated bookkeeping for inpatient and outpatient services
• Receive and respond to day-to-day inquiries from third-party carriers and patients, processes correspondence, and maintains patient files

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• MUST HAVE 2 years of experience in a related role (Required)
• MUST HAVE Epic HB insurance billing and follow-up experience (Required)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, expanding organization
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, billing software, and medical terminology
• Experience with HIPAA and compliance-sensitive environments
• Attention to detail, and ability to collaborate independently and within a team
