    Entegris has immediate openings for Manufacturing Operators on both 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts!

    The Manufacturing Operator is a key member of the operations team. The operator position is responsible for inspecting, trimming, testing, fixturing, assembling, and packaging a variety of plastic products. The manufacturing operator works independently and together across the operations, materials, engineering, and quality teams.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide support to Operations Supervisor with assigned tasks to include receipt of procured goods, inventory control, quality inspection, and logistics.
    • Performs various assembly operations on the product in accordance with the work orders and Manufacturing instructions, standard work in accordance per appropriate documents.
    • Verifies products are visually inspected and corrective actions are taken when necessary. Ensures product is consistent with established specifications. Escalates quality issues as appropriate. Ensures highest possible product quality and adherence to the Entegris quality system, ISO and/or other standards. Ensures all product is packaged per packaging specifications and routings are followed.
    • Ensures all required paperwork is completed thoroughly and timely (i.e. Production Reports, Hour-by Hour, Labels, Component Sheets, Rework Sheets, Sage Transactions etc.). Maintains accurate attribute/variable charts of rejected materials.
    • Maintains a clean and safe work area at all times. Wears required Personal Protective Equipment, perform duties in a safe manner and observe approved safety procedures at all times. Maintains awareness of potential hazards and implements ideas for safer alternatives. Communicates potential hazards to leadership immediately.
    • Completes documentation and disposes of rejected and or excess material on a daily basis.
    • Follows attendance expectations including arrival times, breaks and meetings.
    • Focuses on key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, cost effectiveness and product/system quality. Promotes and implements use of continuous improvement tools to eliminate non-value activities. Participate actively in continuous improvement activities, such as 6S, Kaizen events, yellow belt training and projects.
    • Demonstrates wiliness to complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in order to support the overall organization. Participate in Entegris’ continuous quality improvement process and dedication to customer satisfaction

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    • 1-year manufacturing experience preferred
    • Ability to read, understand, and follow documented processes and procedures
    • Good attention to detail; ability to perform basic math computations and computer data entry
    • Ability to use measuring devices, hand tools, and power tools
    • Ability to stand during entire shift
    • Ability to repetitively pinch and grasp hand tools, repetitively twist, bend and reach upward and handle small screws, washers, fasteners, etc.
    • Works well independently and with a group on collaborative projects; able to take direction and instruction

    • 3PM-11PM Mon-Fri

    • 11PM-7AM Mon-Fri
