    Job Description

    The CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE is a hands-on role that requires:

    • Working with customers to grow their business
    • 100% focus on customer satisfaction and on-time deliveries
    • Working across multiple departments internally We are looking for someone who will grow with our business, take on increased responsibilities, and ultimately own account calling. Our team culture is defined by collaboration with colleagues in the headquarter office and at the Indiana production plants.     Main Duties & Responsibilities:

    • CUSTOMER SATISFACTION: Ensuring customer satisfaction on time in full to differentiate Rapak from competitors
    • ​PURCHASE ORDERS: Confirming customer orders, calling customers and order entry into ERP system
    • SALES TEAM SUPPORT: Working with sales team reps to ensure orders get confirmed, loaded into system & scheduled with production team
    • PARTNERSHIPS: Partnering with companies to drive efficiency, for example work with companies to schedule irradiation of bags and successful shipments for customers around the country and working with freight companies for pickups and shipments

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Main responsibility is to satisfy our customers and ensure all order details in the process are stewarded professionally
    • Order data entry
    • RMA’s – Lead the process for returns of authorized materials
    • Quotes – Lead the official quote process, prepare customer quotes and tracking analysis
    • Sales Position Reports (MWF) – Track sales and distribute sales updates throughout the week
    • Quarterly pricing letters – Send pricing letters to customers, ensure clear customer communication
    • House accounts – Provide proactive approach to contacting customers, reminding them about PO’s, order history and lead times
    • Freight – Lead the domestic and international freight process
    • Work with internal departments to ensure communication of orders, pricing, invoices get addressed appropriately.
    • Always keenly addressing new opportunities to improve
    • Growth opportunity, demonstrate customer knowledge and ability to take on specific accounts with travel and account responsibility

    Qualifications:

    • 2-3 years of business experience
    • A College degree and previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
    • Experience working with ERP, CRM, systems,
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table, Lookups, etc.) and PowerPoint with ability to train others.
