You will: - lead a diverse team of Quality Analysts and Testers in a challenging / fast paced environment - introduce and implement new ways of working that deliver efficiency and effectiveness within QA and Testing - proactively communicate with IT development and business teams to deliver high quality testing services - be hands on, understanding the technical details of the product(s) and assist the development and test teams in design and troubleshooting - innovate in areas of Automation, Test Environments and Test Data with focus to reduce manual effort and dependency on development teams for support - be motivated to contribute and do what it takes to get things done as well as motivate others Your teamYou will be working in the Wealth Management America's (WMA) IT organization in Weehawken, NJ. You will lead a global team of Quality Analysts and Testers . The Quality Assurance (QA) and Testing team is primarily located in America's and India. You will be required to lead and manage all aspects of testing for the WMA Function you support. The test team will plan with project managers, participate in the requirements definition, develop test cases, execute per the plan, drive daily defect calls, ensure high severity defects are proactively closed, create completion reports and report status along the way. You will be hands-on in all these activities. You will also support the transition from manual to automated testing, increase automation throughout the portfolio, focus to reduce test environment downtime, and introduce new ways to reduce dependency on development teams for test data generation. Your experience and skillsYou have: - bachelor's Degree or higher in either Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics - minimum 15 years of IT QA experience in delivering testing services in agile / iterative / waterfall environments - at least 7+years in a senior role leading a QA function - demonstrated leadership skills with strong management, planning and organizational skills - strong testing proficiency using QA Test Engineering techniques, methodologies and best practices leveraging test management tools such as HP Quality Center, etc. - experience working with Automation, Load / Performance, Environment Management and Data Management tools (Selenium, QTP, UFT, Perf Center, etc.) You are: - passionate about what you do, you value excellence, learning and integrity - keen to be part of a work environment that places emphasis on team work, collaboration and delivering business value - someone who is technically excellent and can inspire others - proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable working in dynamic environments with fast paced deliveries and changing requirements About usExpert advice.
