We’re hiring a driven mortgage Loan Officer Assistant to free up our Loan Officer to originate more loans into the pipeline. This position will be from the “contact to contract” phase of the loan. Your job will be to work closely with borrowers to expedite their mortgage process and ensure everything runs smoothly. Responsibilities: • Calls referred client to get loan application completed • Stays in contact with pre-approved homebuyers • Updates pre-approval letters, as needed • Serves as the liaison between leads, referral partners, and the loan officer until contract phase • Reads/responds to email; flags items requiring attention • Confirms calendar appointments • Schedules meetings to coordinate any follow-up items • Schedules loan consultations for LO to sell/approve Borrower • Collects standard documents from Borrower (paystubs, W-2s, bank statements, etc.) • Assists in calculating income, reviewing credit, running findings, etc., training required. • Helps marketing Loan Officer, filling events and promoting the team on social media Qualifications: • Comprehension of basic loan financing options such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc. • MS Office proficiency required; some CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred • NMLS license or training is not required, but is desired • At least 2-3 years of professional office environment required, preferably as an administrative or mortgage assistant • High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree in finance or banking preferred Compensation: $36,000 plus bonus
