Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories. Develop ETLs that meet the business requirements provided by the team. Provide recommendations for improving existing code using best practice methods. Demonstrate advance understanding of the main features of Pentaho Data Integrator. Design or implement complex algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource or interface constraints; perform quality control through peer review on team products. Qualifications: 4-5 years of software development experience of which 2+ years experience is with Pentaho Data Integrator or other industry standard ETL platforms. Experience in implementing successful distributed, scalable, high-performance server applications. Proven ability to work independently and as a team member. Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills. Experience with the Agile development methodology. Comfort with SQL based database queries. Preferences: Experience with MS SQL Server SSIS.
