    Job Description

    Rapport International Furniture on La Brea is looking for a sales administrator/purchasing assistant. The ideal candidate would be able to excel in a fast paced and challenging environment and be able to take on new tasks and special projects. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager and CEO, this position is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of accounting activities, purchasing maintenance and general office support including: --Audit sales orders for accuracy. Compile and enter sales data for daily reporting. --Reconcile credit card batches and make sure payments are properly recorded in point of sale software. --Enter all purchase orders for stock items and special orders. Create SKU's, use accurate pricing, get confirmations from vendors for all orders and check for accuracy, keep up to date ETA's on all incoming merchandise. --Assist the sales staff with orders, customer issues, etc. --Assist the accounting/operations department with filing and other administrative tasks. Skills and Qualifications --1 year of administrative experience desired. Will provide training for the right candidate. --Basic knowledge of excel, outlook, and word. --40 hours per week, schedule is flexible but weekends are mandatory.
