    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Loan Officer is highly proficient at pivoting from one sales conversation to the next.  They will speak to customers to evaluate and determine the best solution for their first-time purchase or refinance. You will essentially be the person that makes the first and lasting impression with our clients, and all this without having to find your own leads or uncover rocks to talk to people.  We have a plethora of advertising vehicles working for you, so you spend your quality time imparting the highest level of sales experience to our customers.   

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Conduct interviews with prospective borrowers in order to analyze financial and credit information, determine financing objectives, advise customers of our product and pricing policies and gather any additional information to determine the customer’s readiness

    • Maintain current knowledge of guidelines and loan programs.

    • Have excellent communication skills with internal and external clients.

    • Plan and coordinate phone meetings with clients to discuss loan options.

    • Issue pre-approval letters when applicable.

    • Price and lock interest rates.

    • Be able to navigate and work through the Encompass LOS system as well as other internal systems.

    • Strong sense of responsibility for completing work quickly and accurately.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be licensed in the State of Nevada.
    • Minimum 2 years successful, verifiable loan origination experience in the last 5 years
    • Persuasive, selling communication skills.
    • Knowledge of Conventional, FHA and or VA lending guidelines.
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
