    Job Description

    Our client is based in the STATESVILLE, NC / HICKORY, NC area, and a $15k relocation assistance will be provided, as needed.

    We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join our client's team! 3-7 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment is required. You will work closely with our client, an industry-leading HR Director, and will have an opportunity to learn and develop your HR skills further by working on a dynamic team.

     

    MASTERS DEGREE, SPHR, OR PHR CERTIFICATION WOULD BE EXCELLENT TO HAVE IN THIS ROLE.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Employee Engagement Champion

    One who is able to “mine” Data & Develop Trend Analysis

    ► Manage engagement & development aspects of the employee life cycle for both hourly and salaried population

    ► Partners with key internal customers to address employee and performance issues in a timely manner. ► Partner with Value Stream Managers to address gaps in the organization ► Manage Data Reconciliation Projects that pertain to Headcount, Compensation, Talent Management, Turnover, & other critical items ► Develop/maintain appropriate skill matrix for each operational area, provide input into Assessment/Testing Tools and support the Talent Management Process ► Partners with Functional BP to ensure activities are driven across all programs/functions. ► Partner with the Global HR Support Service Team to ensure delivery of services as needed. ► Partner with Systems & Payroll Team for Employee Change Authorizations / Data Accuracy ► Drive Engagement Survey Action Planning for Operational Teams ► Support Company-Wide & HR strategies as directed ► Develop streamlined/scaleable Policies and Procedures where applicable; ensure appropriate training/implementation and documents maintained ► Drive Retention Strategy for Operations Team ► Oversee Workers Compensation & Leaves ► Drive the implementation of new value stream or program launches ► Other duties assigned by the Human Resources DirectorScreen, recruit, and interview potential employees

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Previous experience in Human Resources in a manufacturing environment
    • BS or MS degree
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
