IMMEDIATE OPENING- AWS Certified Cloud Engineer!

HYBRID WORK - SOME OFFICE TIME, SOME WORK FROM HOME TIME!

HERE IS A QUICK SNAPSHOT OF THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline (Master's degree preferred).

● Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (OUR CLIENT WILL DO VISA SPONSORSHIP/ TRANSFERS) and possess a valid driver's license for vehicle test driving.

● Self-starter with at least 3 years of software development experience.

● Collaborate with local customers to design and define technical specifications which will be used to customize our global navigation platform for the local market.

● Attend daily customer meetings to discuss topics ranging from high-level functional requirements to low-level technical details.

● Provide operational support including cloud monitoring and server application troubleshooting.

● Remain integrated with local development teams through all phases of the software lifecycle (requirements, development, testing, and integration).

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

● 3+ years in a software development or technical engineering role

● 1+ years of technical experience with client-server, server-server architectures, and underlying infrastructure

● 1+ years of direct customer technical support experience

● Fundamental understanding of AWS service offerings such as EC2, VPC, RDS, DynamoDB, EKS, ECS, Fargate, S3, IAM, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, Lambda, Elasticache

● Hands-on experience with log management and monitoring services such as Datadog, ELK, CloudWatch

● Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases

● Ability to comprehend the functions and capabilities of new cloud technologies

● Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM development environments

WE'D BE DELIGHTED IF YOU HAD ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

AWS Certification(s)

AWS DevOps experience with automated configurations and deployments

Hands-on experience with REST API automation and load testing tools

Working knowledge of load balancing and auto-scaling real-time applications

Familiarity with security protocols and principles such as HTTPs, SSL, TLS, certificates, token-based authentication, key management
