    Description

    We are currently seeking a Finance Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of two plants in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and accurate financial management of our company, as well as providing valuable insights and recommendations to drive business growth.

    As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, monitoring budgets, and providing financial advice and guidance to the management team. You will also be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations, including managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, monitoring cash flow, and conducting financial audits.

    Responsibilities

    Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

    Monitor budgets and financial performance, identifying trends and recommending improvements

    Oversee accounts payable and receivable activities, ensuring accurate and timely payments and collections

    Manage cash flow and forecasting, including making recommendations for optimal cash management strategies

    Manage and oversee all cost accounting functions, including inventory valuation, cost of goods sold analysis, and manufacturing overhead analysis

    Develop and manage cost management systems and policies.

    Ensures procedures and internal controls are followed in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and assist with audit and compliance activities as assigned

    Develop and implement cost accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

    Master's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred, but not required

    CPA is preferred, but not required

    8+ years of experience in finance and accounting, ideally for a large manufacturing company

    Expertise in fixed asset accounting, cost analysis for manufacturing

    Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

    Highly organized and detail-oriented

    Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Proficient in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite
