Overview: The Cost Accounting Manager will support the overall profitability and operational success by performing strong analytical and variance review of facility-wide productivity, inventory reduction, adherence to budget and by directing the accounting functions and related controls through accurate and timely financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA is preferred), with at least five years of management experience in Finance and Accounting within a manufacturing operations environment. Strong knowledge of manufacturing data analytics, cost accounting and Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP) is required. Solid analytical, planning, organizing and interpretive skills are essential.
The incumbent must have a high sense of personal ethics and integrity and possess solid communication skills (both verbal and written) and the interpersonal skills required for regular ongoing interactions with plant management, staff and corporate executive management. This includes the ability to delegate, coach and develop a high-performing accounting team. The incumbent must be organized, action-oriented and results-driven. The incumbent must be highly proficient in MS Office EXCEL, Word and Outlook; familiarity with ERP system.
