As a Kitting Associate, you will be responsible for supporting our mechanical and industrial engineering operations by organizing and preparing materials and components for assembly. Responsibilities

Prepare kits by manually selecting and gathering the necessary parts and materials according to assembly and production orders.

Ensure all kits are accurately labeled and documented to facilitate the smooth flow of materials throughout the production process.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to determine the most efficient methods of kitting and optimize inventory management.

Maintain a clean and organized kitting area, ensuring all equipment and tools are properly stored and in good working condition.

Assist in physical inventory counts and perform regular cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels.

Collaborate with quality control teams to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to kitted materials.

Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment and prevent any accidents or injuries.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

Forklift certification required

Proven experience working in a kitting or assembly role within the mechanical or industrial engineering industry.

Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately track and document materials.

Proficient in using basic hand tools and equipment.

Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and technical drawings.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills to address any issues that may arise during the kitting process.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
