    Overview: As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) with a specialization in Employee Relations, you will play a critical role in fostering a positive work environment and maintaining strong relationships between the organization and its employees. You will serve as a trusted advisor to both management and employees, offering guidance, support, and strategic direction on a wide range of employment-related matters. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure fair and consistent treatment of employees, resolve workplace issues, and promote a culture of open communication and collaboration.

    Responsibilities:

    Employee Relations Management:

    Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee relations matters, including grievances, disputes, disciplinary actions, and performance management.

    Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and concerns, ensuring prompt and impartial resolution in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

    Provide coaching and guidance to managers on handling employee relations issues effectively and in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

    Proactively identify trends and patterns in employee relations issues, develop strategies to address root causes, and implement preventative measures to minimize future issues.

    Policy Development and Compliance:

    Collaborate with the HR team and legal counsel to develop, revise, and implement company policies and procedures related to employee relations, ensuring alignment with best practices and legal requirements.

    Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations, proactively assess their impact on the organization, and recommend appropriate actions to maintain compliance.

    Conduct regular audits and reviews of HR policies and practices to ensure consistency, fairness, and adherence to legal standards.

    Employee Communication and Engagement:

    Facilitate open and transparent communication between employees and management, fostering a culture of trust, respect, and accountability.

    Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, such as recognition programs, feedback mechanisms, and conflict resolution processes.

    Partner with internal stakeholders to address organizational challenges and promote a positive work environment that values diversity, inclusion, and collaboration.

    Training and Development:

    Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to design and deliver training programs for managers and employees on topics such as conflict resolution, effective communication, and respectful workplace behavior.

    Provide individual coaching and development opportunities to managers and employees to enhance their skills in handling employee relations matters and fostering a positive work culture.

    Qualifications:

    Ability to work on-site in Manchester, NH 2-3 days a week.

    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

    5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a focus on employee relations.

    Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.

    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.

    Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive matters with tact and discretion.

    Proven ability to build rapport and establish credibility with employees at all levels of the organization.

    HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
