Accountant Overview: Location: Concord, NH with hybrid flexibility 2x/week Duration: up to 6 months Rate of pay: $30-$35/hour, depending on experience

Accountant Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards
• Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information and support decision-making processes
• Stay updated on changes in securities laws and regulations

Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of related work experience
• Proven experience in public accounting or a similar role
• Familiarity with general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation
• Experience with corporate finance and financial analysis
• Solid understanding of debits, credits, and double-entry bookkeeping principles
