    As a Senior Tax Manager and Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the tax practice area within our company. With your expertise and leadership skills, you will lead a team of tax professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality tax services to our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned public accounting professional to take on a strategic role and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

    Responsibilities

    Manage and lead a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support on tax-related matters

    Develop and implement tax strategies and initiatives to optimize tax planning and compliance for our clients

    Review and analyze complex tax issues, providing guidance and recommendations to clients

    Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and proactively identifying tax planning opportunities

    Collaborate with other departments to ensure the seamless integration of tax services within our overall service offerings

    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any tax-related concerns or inquiries

    Monitor the performance and productivity of the tax practice area, implementing strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field; master's degree preferred

    CPA or EA licensure strongly preferred

    Minimum of 5+ years experience in tax accounting

    Sophisticated knowledge of income tax planning, compliance, and consulting

    Proficiency with TaxAct Professional (or similar tax preparation software), Microsoft Office

    Working knowledge for filing 1040, 1041, 1120, and 709 tax returns

    Valid PTIN

    Excellent written and oral communication skills

    Ability to organize, prioritize, and solve problems
