This position requires financial oversight of our 4 companies and entails a high level of interaction with various organization members. 5+ years experience in real estate. Strong understanding of accounting theory and real estate financial reporting. Looking for someone whos passionate about Real estate and wants to grow fast and quick. Ability to independently evaluate issues and apply sound business judgment with minimal oversight. Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior/executive management. Excellent reporting, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus. Strong Excel knowledge a must. • Paid time-off, including holidays, vacation/personal/sick time Responsibilities: • Prepare financial statements and perform financial analysis • Oversee general ledger preparation and maintain balance sheet accounts • Work with Project management division and property management division with work orders • Oversee company cash flow and bill pay • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receiveable • Create Cash flow statements • Ability to analyze the companies investments • Understand Cap Rates and Cash flow goals • Ability to work with lenders • Be up to date with company's monthly debt • Calculate and prepare tenant annual tax escalations • Interface with external accounting firm regarding annual financial audit • Prepare budgets and financial forecasts • Hire people inside the Financial Department • Be a leader • Be a self starter • Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for vendors and clients • Complete all bank reconciliations and monthly/quarterly reports • Manage and motivate accounting staff • Monitor debt management, e.g., escrows and principal Qualifications: • BS Finance, Accounting, or related field • 5 yrs experience in the field • Real Estate Accounting experience • Knowledge of Yardi and or Appfolio and Quickbooks • Team player • Positive Attitude • Goal oriented • Honesty • Integrity • Respect • Strong analytical and project management skills • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines • Strong managerial skills • Passion for real estate • Goal oriented Compensation: $125,000
