JOB SUMMARY

The Development Manager is a member of the Development Team reporting to the Chief Development Officer. This position is responsible for generating revenue. Duties include relationship development including prospect lead generation, prospect research, donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. This position is responsible for developing new opportunities to grow portfolio engagement across all fundraising channels to increase revenue through data mining and research. In addition, this position is responsible for sponsor acquisition, volunteer engagement and CRM database management for RGA. The Development Manager will demonstrate a commitment to and firm understanding of data management and will be active in efforts to expand philanthropic support to all events. Development Manager will uphold the Mission & Values of the Association.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: These are minimal requirements for the position- no exceptions

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3-5 years of job related experience (6-10 years of job related experience preferred)
• Responsible for relationship development including prospect lead generation, prospect research, donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Supporting the CDO in cultivation, solicitation, and the stewardship of major and principal gifts.
• Responsible for donor data management including but not limited to CRM input and data management.
• Manage relationships
• Work to increase volunteer engagement throughout the organization
• Must successfully complete CANTS, LEADS and State Police checks.
• SALARY RANGE: $ 57,500 – 62,000
