This posting is for a Joint Contaminated Human Remains (JCHR) Army Engineer Analyst. Candidates must meet relevant experience requirements for this particular position.
Minimum Skills and Experience:
Demonstrated engineering knowledge of excavation and ground disturbance operations to include the planning, management, and use of construction capabilities within a theater of operations
Experience as former US Army Engineer trained on temporary mass casualty interment/disinterment procedures supporting Service and theater level operations for CBRNE fatalities during large scale combat operations
Professional Engineer (PE) certification required
Bachelor's Degree with 3 years experience
For candidates with a Master's Degree, experience requirement is reduced to 1 year
Experience developing and testing TTP
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills and Experience:
Previous JT&E experience within the most recent 5 years
Previous work with CBRNE and CHR operations
Test Planning experience
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide joint warfighter tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) to identify storage recommendations for JCHR prior to evacuation or temporary interment
Provide successful preliminary identification for remains that cannot be repatriated expeditiously during large-scale combat operations
Identify safety concerns for personnel executing the tasks
Support the team’s TTP development efforts to include TTP research, hosting TTP writing groups and Joint Warfighters Advisory Groups (JWAGs), test product transitions, and final out briefings of the test project’s findings, conclusions, and recommendations to senior leadership
Serve as a member of the contract team consisting of a CBRNE analyst, Mortuary Affairs analyst and Operations Research Systems Analyst (ORSA) supporting test planning and execution, TTP development and the Test & Evaluation requirements
Advise and assist the JCHR-STID Task Manager and Test Director in the planning, development, and execution of all contract deliverables
