We hire freelancers and contractors globally. We are building a marketing content function for Razorhorse, and potentially two related businesses. Razorhorse provides Origination as a Service (sourcing investment opportunities) for the software industry. Our mission is to accelerate visibility and access to proprietary deal flow for our client base of world class software investors and acquirers. We work remotely, and we behave with integrity, curiosity, and fearlessness in all aspects of our business. We co-work virtually, and are highly collaborative group. We work with people globally, but expect our team to operate largely on US, East Coast time zone. The rate for this role is $25 / hour, depending on experience and proficiency. 

About the Content Marketing Manager position

A proficient Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for website content, blogs, social media, and email marketing. This position is a great fit for a creative marketing professional looking to put their writing background to use. Content needs to be fresh, up to date, and engaging for the customer. 

Content Marketing Manager responsibilities are:

• Generate ideas to increase constituent engagement - constituents include software company CEOs, venture capitalists, private equity owners, investment bankers, and corporate acquirers.

• Analysis of web traffic and social media metrics, and optimization of content

• Edit, proofread, improve, and deliver engaging content to the customer regularly

• Develop an editorial calendar and subsequently delegate within said calendar.

• Design marketing strategies with goals that are short term as well as long term.

• Ensure a diverse web presence by sharing content through different channels

Content Marketing Manager requirements are:

• Project management skills

• Ability to learn new software platforms, such as Wix for website content management

• Expert social media platform understanding

• Great communication skills in the English language

• Bachelors degree
