Razorhorse has put over $400 million of equity capital to work in over 40 acquisitions and minority investments over the past six years. Razorhorse maintains a proprietary database of acquisition targets and continually curates the content via active business development campaigns executed by our team of Origination Associates.

As a Research Associate, you will be a key member of our team, working to support our team that sources new investment opportunities. You will participate in all aspects of the business development process including industry/market research, creating market maps, identifying target companies and writing campaigns.

Requirements:

• High performer within peer group in the following areas: qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, finance, business judgment and attention to detail
• Prior experience in quantitative and qualitative research roles
• Ability to leverage all available resources to create market maps, organize research, and generate insights to guide our deal sourcing efforts
• Willingness to talk to industry experts
• Exceptional writing skills and ability to write email campaigns
• Ability to curate long lists based on multi-faceted criteria
• Willingness to do execution work, executing campaigns, managing social media connections (LinkedIn)
• Strong English language skills
• Ability to work remote. Location doesn't matter, but candidates must be able to work East and West Coast hours.
• Undergraduate degree with a high GPA required
• Rate $25/hr with potential for advancement
