Who we are looking for

Cutting Dynamics is looking for an experienced CNC Machining Estimator/Quoting Specialist who will be responsible for quoting new and repeat business for customers. They will also be responsible for coordinating product planning and launch activity for new business awarded.

What you will get to do

• Quotes new CNC machining business (by interpreting customer design definition, specifications, etc., uing sophisticated estimation tools).
• Quotes repeat CNC machining business (by referencing historical data or other estimation tools).
• Monitors status of submitted quotes (won/lost/other), following up where appropriate.
• Coordinates product planning / launch activity for new business awarded.
• Collaborates with Purchasing for purchased items in support of quotes.
• Serves as a primary point of customer contact (RFQs and quote-related activity, via phone, email, portal, etc.).
• Develops and maintains customer relationships.
• Reviews customer purchase orders for acceptance (pricing, delivery, terms and conditions, etc.), negotiating where appropriate.
• Manages customer specifications library.

What you bring to the team

• Must have 5-8 years of preparing accurate estimate reports for customers within the Manufacturing Industry
• Associates or Bachelors degree in a manufacturing or engineering related field preferred. In lieu of a degree, relevant experience may be substituted.
• CNC Machining quoting experience strongly preferred
• Aerospace Experience preferred
