Job Summary
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Mitigation Re-Construction Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee all phases of re-construction projects following mitigation services. This includes estimating, scheduling, managing crews/subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget , and to company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage re-construction project from initial scope to final completion
Write estimates using Xactimate (or similar software)
Coordinate with mitigation team, adjusters, and homeowners
Schedule and supervise subcontractors and in-house crews
Order materials and manage job costs
Schedule key deliverables and milestones and ensure progress is being made
Ensure compliance with IICRC standards and local building codes
Conduct job site inspections and quality control checks
Maintain clear communication with clients and insurance companies
Handle project documentation and job file updates.
Ensure all professionals on site comply with building and safety regulations
Estimate costs and keep the project within budget
Supervise and direct laborers and construction workers
Report on progress
Identify and mitigate any potential issues that may arise
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in restoration/reconstruction project management
Strong knowledge of water, fire, and mold restoration processes
Strong understanding of the insurance lifecycle, from initial FNOL (First Notice of Loss) to final certificate of satisfaction.
Experience with Exactimate required
Strong background in property insurance claims, specifically within the water and mold mitigation industry.
Strong leadership, organizational, and crisis resolution skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Project management certification is preferred
Advanced knowledge of construction methods, building products, and building codes
Familiar with Microsoft Excel and construction management software
Ability to break large projects into small steps
Preferred Qualifications
IICRC Certifications (WRT, ASD, etc.)
Experience working with insurance claims and adjusters
Background in construction or general contracting
