    This is a great opportunity to work and live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest! ReBound Physical, Occupational & Hand Therapies is a growing private practice and is in need of a hand therapist. We are located in both Bellingham & Lynden, WA drawing patients from a large area. Working with some of the best surgeons in Washington, we have a hands-on progressive approach to treatment and need a like-minded clinician to join our staff. Our hand therapy department is looking for an experienced PT/OT (CHT) with strong manual therapy and evaluation skills. Applicant must be able to work independently. Patient population consists of almost entirely upper extremity care, including post-operative, fractures, tendon repair, repetitive stress, multi-trauma, occasional wound care and serial casting to the adult and possible pediatric population. Strong splinting skills and experience in postoperative and post-trauma shoulder, elbow and hand therapy is preferred. We work closely with many primary care physicians and specialists in our region as well as from regional medical centers. The therapist will evaluate and treat patients referred by physicians, developing appropriate programs to restore function and maximize independence, while treating clients with dignity, sensitivity, and encouragement. Applicant is to be a licensed Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist or eligible to be licensed in Washington State. New grads are welcome to apply but we prefer at least 1-2 years of hand experience.

    You will be expected to:

    Display a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure each patients satisfaction.

    Be driven to excel as a team member and therapist. – We have a team of 4 OT hand therapists between our 2 locations.

    Evaluate each patient using a thorough and concise exam.

    Prepare a written plan of care in a timely fashion (within 24 hours).

    Document functional outcome tools as required by payers.

    Supervise the implementation of each plan of care, coordinating treatment with support staff & working to ensure that your patients complete their full course of care.

    Actively participate in ongoing marketing strategies and community engagement to promote the clinic and our services.

    Be a proactive member of our team who brings new ideas and solutions to any problems that may arise.

    Seek to continually grow and evolve professionally and as a member of our team.

    Help foster a professional environment that is friendly and welcoming to everyone.

    This is a full time position in an established clinic in Whatcom County, WA. You must be able to work on a few Saturday mornings each year when we offer or are involved in special events. The salary and benefit package are competitive, with incentives for exceptional performance.
