    About the Role:

    Habitat for Humanity of Walton County's ReStore is looking for a passionate and driven Assistant Manager to help lead our unique retail operation in beautiful Santa Rosa Beach, FL.     Responsibilities:

    Assist the Store Manager in daily ReStore operations, including sales floor management and donor intake

    Supervise, train, and motivate a team of staff and volunteers to ensure a productive and positive work environment

    Oversee merchandise pricing, display, and rotation to maximize sales and store appearance

    Coordinate donation pickups, drop-offs, and inventory processing of new and gently used items

    Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained throughout the store

    Support loss prevention, cash handling, and POS system operations

    Assist with community outreach and donor relationship management to drive donations and revenue

    Requirements:

    2+ years of retail management or supervisory experience required

    Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage volunteers and diverse teams

    Excellent customer service and communication skills

    Experience with inventory management, merchandising, and pricing

    Ability to lift and move donated items up to 50 lbs regularly

    Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills

    Passion for community service and alignment with Habitat for Humanity's mission
