    Position & Company Overview:

    Resupply is looking for an analytical team player to join us on our journey to reinvent and forever change the supply-chain of charitable contributions within the U.S. We are seeking someone who will be passionate about our mission and partnerships as we turn household goods into emergency relief for those in need. * We are only reviewing applications for individuals who live in the Greater Boston area.*

    As a Junior Product Data Scientist, you will embed yourself within the product development team as a trusted partner to prepare for product releases, measure outcomes, and uncover new ways to drive growth. The focus of this role will be on enhancing user experience and driving product improvements through A/B testing, measurement, and analysis.

    Our small, tight-knit team is seeking a candidate who will work closely with us at our Downtown Boston headquarters. We work best when we can all innovate together in an open, collaborative environment. You will collaborate closely with our Product Manager, UI/UX Designer, and Developers.

    Responsibilities

    • Understanding how our data is created, stored, aggregated, cleaned, and how it can be used to inform decision making
    • Critically thinking about how we define our metrics
    • Designing A/B tests
    • Establishing source-of-truth dashboards to prepare for new feature development and measure outcomes
    • Performing analyses on product features to answer open-ended questions and provide strategic recommendations to influence the product roadmap
    • Assessing the opportunity of potential plans to suggest where we invest time and resources.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (e.g. - Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science)
    • Knowledge of core data science concepts and tools
    • Expertise in SQL or an ability to learn quickly
    • Understanding basic statistical concepts behind a/b testing and measuring outcomes
    • Passion for experimental design and presentation of data
    • Experience with a programming language, preferably Python
    • Experience handling large quantities of data preferred but not required
    • Ideally 1-2 years of experience, including internships and co-ops.
