    Job Title: Personal and Acquisition Assistant
    Department: Mergers and Acquisitions
    Reports To: VP of Mergers and Acquisitions

    The Personal and Acquisition Assistant is a versatile and dynamic role designed to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions. The individual in this position will be instrumental in facilitating acquisition processes, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the M&A department.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Acquisition Support:

    • Proactively research and identify potential acquisition targets, with a specific focus on Managed Service Providers (MSPs), through various online platforms, industry reports, and networking events.
    • Prepare, organize, and manage confidential acquisition-related documents, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
    • Liaise with sellers, brokers, and other stakeholders to request, collect, and organize necessary documents and information.
    • Monitor acquisition timelines, ensuring all necessary steps are taken to advance acquisitions and keep processes moving forward.
    • Assist in the preliminary analysis of potential acquisition targets, ensuring alignment with company objectives and criteria.
    • Travel as required to meet with potential acquisition targets, attend industry events, and network with MSPs and other relevant stakeholders.
    • Build and maintain relationships with MSPs and other potential acquisition targets through regular communication and networking.
    • Cold call MSP leads to identify and qualify potential acquisition opportunities. ****

    Administrative Assistance:

    • Manage the VP's professional and personal calendar with meticulous attention to detail, scheduling appointments and coordinating travel arrangements.
    • Monitor and manage email communications, ensuring timely responses and prioritization of important messages.
    • Prepare materials and agendas for meetings, take minutes, and ensure follow-up on action items.
    • Support the management of various projects and initiatives, ensuring a detailed approach to meeting deadlines and achieving objectives.
    • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of the role.
    • Help organize and coordinate events, ensuring they align with departmental goals and objectives.
    • Act as an extension to the VP of M&A, representing the VP in various internal and external engagements as needed, including personal appointments and meetings.

    Key Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in an administrative or assistant role, preferably within a mergers and acquisitions or finance environment.
    • Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
    • Excellent time-management abilities with a proven capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
    • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with a meticulous eye for detail in all forms of correspondence and interaction.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and all Google Related Platforms and other relevant software.
    • Unwavering commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
