Position Title: Math and Reading Interventionist Teacher
Company: Mrs. Myers’ Reading Room, dba Mrs. Myers’ Learning Lab
Company Description:
At Mrs. Myers' Learning Lab, we help children discover the joy of learning reading and math. Our mission is to provide high quality reading support and intervention services to children ages 3 to 12. According to the National Center for Education Statistics(2019) 66% of 4th grade students perform below grade level in reading. Because of this, supplementary education is a growing trend. They will learn to read using a kinesthetic learning approach. Our “Whole Child " learning techniques incorporate sight, hearing, touch, and movement. The combination of these senses influence learning and memory. Our multi-sensory techniques engage children in reading, and better prepares them for lifelong learning. In 2020, Mrs. Myers’ Learning Lab expanded upon its tried and true programming by adding a math program that encompasses the same approach as what the reading program has been built on.
