Armed Security Officer

This position is located on-site in Salt Lake City, Utah

About this Role:

Ready Alliance Protection Group is seeking an Armed Security Officer to join our expanding team.

Responsibilities

Protect client property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment

Observe signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances

Act lawfully in direct defense of life

Take accurate notes and keep record of unusual occurrences

Report in detail any suspicious incidents to the senior team

Patrol randomly or regularly building interior and perimeter

Contact proper authorities as needed

Qualifications

Previous experience OR an extreme willingness and desire to learn a new & exciting profession!

Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols

Surveillance skills and detail orientation

Proactive communication

Integrity and professionalism

Ability to handle firearm and obtain appropriate certifications

Ability to work in stressful situations

Requirements

High school degree

Physical Requirements

Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.

Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or with- out correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound

Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly

Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to-position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires the substantial use of the upper extremities and back muscles.

The worker is required to have visual acuity to monitor security cameras and perform other functions of the job

The worker is subject to both environmental conditions: Activities occur inside and outside.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary:

From $23.00 per hour, $1,000 Sign-On Bonus ($500 after the successful completion of the two-week training period, $500 six months into employment).
