    Job Summary

    RealCraft is seeking an eager Accounting Clerk to join our team who will process daily expense transactions, maintain and route shared emails, and provide additional support. A successful Accounting Clerk will understand accounting principles, be technologically savvy, organized, and be willing to help and grow in their responsibilities. They will play a key support role, working closely with our Accounting Specialist, and reporting directly to the Controller.

    Objectives of this Role

    The Accounting Clerk supports RealCraft’s day-to-day accounting departmental needs, including processing accurate and timely AP and expenses under the supervision of the Controller.

    Responsibilities:

    Process Accounts Payable

    Obtain and maintain vendor and customer records, e.g., W9’s, reseller’s permits, etc. in digital formats.

    Collaborate with the Warehouse to reconcile Purchase Orders in QuickBooks and with vendors.

    Code Credit Card Transactions in RAMP.

    Operate shared accounting emails when forward facing with vendors.

    Digitize financial records.

    Continuous documentation of Standard Operating Procedures.

    Other projects and support as needed.

    Skills and Qualifications

    At least 1 year of relevant professional or educational experience

    Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks

    Knowledge of these systems would be helpful, but not required: Avalara (for Nexus taxes), Shopify, ADP, RAMP, and Hubspot.

    Ability to maintain confidentiality.

    Ability to prioritize and organize efficiently.

    Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

    Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    Collaborative mindset.

    Ability to analyze data from various information systems.

    This is a part-time, on-site position, 25 hours per week. The salary is $23 to $27 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunities for growth within our accounting team. Paid holidays are included, as well as the opportunity to join a matching IRA program.
