Felner Corporation, a well-established property management firm in Connecticut, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate Administrative Assistant. This position offers the opportunity to work side by side with the Director of Property Management and Property Managers, gaining valuable, hands-on experience in both commercial and residential property management. Responsibilities: • Assist and learn all aspects of property management under the direction of senior staff. • Develop proficiency with AppFolio property management software, including: Work order processing, Apartment turn, Accounts payable, and Delinquency reporting. • Interface with tenants, vendors, prospects, and legal assistants. • Provide excellent customer service, building positive relationships with tenants and vendors to foster a professional and welcoming environment. • Draft documents and prepare materials for meetings and presentations. • Assist with independent and special projects related to business operations. • Attend weekly meetings with property management and maintenance staff. • Schedule tours and show available units to prospective tenants as needed. • Support leasing operations by understanding leases and other relevant documents. • Participate in budgeting and reporting tasks as required. Qualifications: • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Strong organizational and time-management abilities with the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); prior experience with AppFolio is a plus. • Ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as independently on assigned projects. • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic. • Desire to obtain a Connecticut Real Estate Salesperson’s license. Compensation: $60,000 - $67,000 yearly
