Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented accounting assistant to support daily financial operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial property management, strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent organizational and communication skills.
This is a full-time, in-office role, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Update utility payments and maintain vendor records
Write checks to vendors
Record and reconcile rent payments
Maintain accurate financial records
Review monthly and quarterly financial statements, reports, and schedules; partner closely with Property/Project Managers and Accountants to ensure accuracy
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
1-2 years experience in accounting or bookkeeping
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with QuickBooks or Yardi Property management software is a plus.
