    We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Real Estate Appraisal Assistant to support a busy appraisal and valuation practice. This role is ideal for someone who excels at computer-based research, data accuracy, and structured file management, and who takes pride in precision and professionalism. Responsibilities: • Conduct market research, including MLS data, public records, assessor data, and comparable sales • Accurate data entry into appraisal software and internal systems • Organize and maintain digital appraisal files , exhibits, photos, and supporting documentation • Assist with report preparation , revisions, and quality control • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, agents, attorneys, and support staff • Track assignments, deadlines, and workflow to ensure timely completion • Answer phone calls and emails • Schedule and confirm appointments • Scanning, filing, and organizing reports Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED required, some college experience preferred • Customer service experience in our industry is preferred • Technologically savvy; basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel programs and filing systems with the ability to learn new programs quickly and troubleshoot common issues Required Skills & Qualifications • Exceptional computer and internet research skills • Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail (critical) • Excellent file management and organizational abilities • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills • Comfortable working with multiple software platforms and cloud-based systems • Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and work independently Preferred (but Not Required) • Prior experience in real estate, appraisal, escrow, lending, or title • Familiarity with MLS systems, appraisal software, or public records research • Interest in building a long-term career in real estate valuation Compensation: $20 - $22 hourly
